Mission Statement
Leadership for Leesburg’s Future believes that leadership
requires courage, ethics, honesty, intellect, compassion, and an ability
to craft and implement solid public policy initiatives. A good leader is
inclusionary, listens to citizens and business owners, is not swayed by
special interest groups, and has the courage to speak the truth and make
policy decisions even at the risk of short-term political gain. Our
leaders must have a commitment to improving the quality of life in
Leesburg and Loudoun County. They must have an ability to work with the
residential and business communities, while providing leadership on land
use, budgetary and other complex issues. These are the Leaders we
will support.
